If you're playing in a league that does not have waiver restrictions, open a new window, go to your league site, and get Titus Young if he's available.
He had sleeper appeal to start the year, but he struggled out of the gate. Young was held under 20 yards in four of his first five games.
His lone quality game was a seven-catch, 75-yard, one-touchdown day against Tennessee. Let's face it, though: Tennessee is far from a defensive force. Plus, his 46-yard touchdown was a bit of a fluke.
Last week, things took a turn for Young. Nate Burleson broke his leg, and Young caught six passes for 81 yards against a tough Chicago Bears team.
He took things to another level today against the Seattle Seahawks, also a stingy defensive unit.
Young torched them to the tune of 100 yards and two touchdowns on nine catches. He was targeted nine times, which gives him 17 over the past two games.
He caught 15 of them, showing that he's on the same page as Matthew Stafford.
Meanwhile, Megatron caught just three of his eight targets for 46 yards.
I'd have two plans for the Lions' receivers. First, I'd try to get my hands on Titus Young ASAP. This isn't a good football team, and they won't have a choice but to throw the ball up.
Megatron will attract the bulk of the attention. Young and Pettigrew should benefit. Speaking of Megatron, it wouldn't be a bad idea to see what his price tag is these days. Good time to buy low.
