Brian Kelly had a family engagement to tend to Sunday before he tended to the progress of his quarterback. But the Notre Dame coach spent a relatively short bus ride with Everett Golson on Saturday night, and what he saw told Kelly all he cared to know.
"He was certainly a young man that was full of excitement and confidence," the Irish coach said Sunday, less than a day removed from a galvanizing 30-13 win at Oklahoma.
