LINCOLN, Neb. – Despite the effort, none of the Wolverines wanted to talk about defense after losing to Nebraska, 23-9 on Saturday. But it still was warranted. Nebraska scored only 23 points, its lowest total of the season and nearly half of its 41.6 per game average. The Cornhuskers average 512 yards per game but had only 326 on Saturday.
