Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta are reaching an age when they will no longer be able to play football. Xavi Hernandez is 32 years old, and Andres Iniesta is 28 years old.

While both players have a few more years to go in their career, La Blaugrana will have to think of the future because of age and injuries.

Zee News of India reported that Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta had health problems before Euro 2012.

Xavi Hernandez

Xavi Hernandez's calf injury last April sidelined him for two weeks.

Andres Iniesta

Andres Iniesta suffered an injury to the right thigh when Spain faced Georgia in the 2014 World Cup qualifications in September. He was out for two weeks and missed the UEFA Champions League match between Barca and Spartak Mosocw.

Who are the possible replacements for Hernandez and Iniesta? Here are 10 possible replacements for Xavi and Iniesta.

The`possible replacements are composed of a new generation of football players from Barca and outside. An invitation is made for BR Readers to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ten possible replacements for Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta.

According to the FC Barcelona website, Jordi Quintilla Guasch is a midfielder who can play on the left side. He has been with Barca B since last year.

My personal prediction is that he may well be another Xavi or Iniesta in the future.

While this may be a distant concept, FC Barcelona may want to find a replacement for Xavi and Iniesta at Flumingense FC in Brazil. Wellington Silva is a midfielder for the club in his early 20s with an impressive record.

During the 2012 Brazilian football season, Wellington scored six goals and had three assists and 39 shots in 25 matches. The following YouTube video, courtesy of Talentos Channel, shows the young star at his best in a Flumingense FC match.
