Either the Detroit Tigers are going to rattle off four straight wins or the San Francisco Giants will be the 2012 World Series champions. 

Max Scherzer will get the start for the Tigers and go against the Giants' Matt Cain. This will be the first appearance for both in this series. 

Both pitchers have been excellent in the postseason. However, Scherzer is going to have to try to shake off some rust, as he has not pitched since Oct. 18. Meanwhile, Cain comes in right on schedule. 

The Tigers' quest to pull off this nearly impossible task begins in earnest with Game 4 on Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
