Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma: Live Scores, Analysis and Results
FINAL: Notre Dame 30 Oklahoma 13
Notre Dame came into tonight an underdog.
Brian Kelly's squad left as a viable contender for a National Championship.
On the legs and arm of Everett Golson, the Irish took care of business by a score of 30-13. Although not an impressive performance from a statistical standpoint, the young quarterback from South Carolina matured and took the next step as a quarterback on the big stage.
For Oklahoma, this is a disappointing defeat. The Irish rush attacked proved to be too strong for the Sooners' defense, and Landry Jones just couldn't exploit match-ups down the field with his myriad of wide outs.
Notre Dame moves to 8-0, while the Sooners fall to 5-2.

Where does this win put Notre Dame in the BCS rankings? Should they be ranked ahead of Kansas State and Oregon?

Rough couple plays for Kenny Stills. His emotions are getting the best of him.
Skip Bayless, tell us how you really feel...
I have no idea why I keep trusting Bob Stoops in big games, even at home. Great recruiter, lousy motivator/strategist.

South Bend is gonna to be poppin' tonight
Pure and simple: I was wrong. Notre Dame is better than Oklahoma, and much better coached. You win @skydigg4.

TOUCHDOWN!
Notre Dame 30 Oklahoma 13 ; 1:36 left in the 4th Quarter
Theo Riddick scampers for a 15-yard touchdown to ice the game for the Irish.
Notre Dame takes over on downs in the Oklahoma red zone. It's going to be 'Bummer Sooner' tonight in Norman.
At least the students have the Halloween weekend to forget about this loss.
Jalen Saunders now has 14 catches for 176 yards tonight. #Sooners

Eh, that's probably not how the play was drawn up.
FIELD GOAL!
Notre Dame 23 Oklahoma 13 ; 3:28 left in 4th Quarter
Kyle Brindza just nailed a 46-yard field goal, and could have put the game out of reach for the Sooners.
With that interception, Te'o now has five for the season.
INTERCEPTION ; 4:27 left in 4th Quarter
Who else, but Manti Te'o.
On a dropped pass by Jalen Saunders, Te'o was able to pounce on top of the ball before it hit the grass. ND takes over in Oklahoma territory, presumably looking to run the clock out.
Alright Mr. Jones, time to show why you came back to college...
Couldn't understand why Brian Kelly kept sticking with Golson over Rees. Now I do. Kid has arrived tonight. Irish can move the ball.

TOUCHDOWN!
Notre Dame 20 Oklahoma 13 ; 5:05 left in 4th Quarter
Everett Golson runs a quarterback draw, and punches it home to complete a seven play, 73-yard drive.
BIG TIME 50-yard toss from Golson to Brown on the fly pattern.
Notre Dame is now setting up shop in the Oklahoma red zone.
Belldozer: Tebowesque.

TOUCHDOWN!
Notre Dame 13 Oklahoma 13 ; 9:10 left in the 4th Quarter
'The Belldozer' scores his ninth rushing touchdown on the year, and Notre Dame just relinquished their first rushing score of the year.
We got a game, folks!
'The Belldozer' is a load. Will we see him on a third straight run?
The Notre Dame secondary will have nightmares tonight centering around Jalen Saunders.
Attendance tonight for Notre Dame-Oklahoma is 86,031--a stadium record

WOW.
For Oklahoma City Thunder fans, James Harden has been traded to the Houston Rockets...

Whenever Kelly's skin hue resembles that of a tomato, you know it ain't good...
Sooners go three-and-out, and the drive lasted 40 seconds.
That can't please Bob Stoops too much.
