The Washington Nationals announced that pinch hitter and veteran bench player Chad Tracy underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Thursday. Tracy, who missed 55 games this season after his right adductor muscle tore off the bone in late May, had the surgery done by Nationals medical director Wiemi Douoguih at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center. He is expected to be fully recovered well before spring training.
