You might remember Brett Kostoff, and not kindly. He was the guy who, after the 4-12 Bengals season of two years ago, sold his NFL soul, er, loyalty, on eBay. Everything has its price. Fanly affection is a commodity, same as a toaster or a bag of doughnuts. Who knew?

That Kostoff switched allegiances is understandable. Longtime Bengals fans question their sanity all the time. And he makes a good, if blood-boiling, point:
