LEXINGTON, KY. — University of Kentucky football coach Joker Phillips updated the Wildcats’ laundry list of injuries following Wednesday’s practice, and the news is mostly good. Quarterback Patrick Towles (ankle) practiced for the second straight day and “took a lot of reps,” as did starting cornerback Cartier Rice (hip). Starting safety Martavius Neloms (hamstring) has been limited in practice but is expected to play Saturday at Missouri after missing last week’s narrow loss to Georgia. Fellow starting safety Mikie Benton (ankle) also sat out last week but “did a little bit more” in Wednesday’s workout.
