As he should be every week he is playing, Rob Gronkowski sits at the top of the fantasy rankings for tight ends.

Gronk will be challenged by a tough Rams defense, but he will still produce in a big way. So will the other two guys on this list.

No. 1: Rob Gronkowski, Patriots

Week 8 Opponent: Rams

Let's not overthink this. Sure, the Rams have allowed the seventh fewest points to tight ends in standard scoring, but this is the Gronk we are talking about.

Gronkowski's pace is slightly behind the numbers he put up last year, but he appears to be hitting his stride. He has 12 catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns over his last two games. He will get plenty of targets, and he will produce this week.

No. 2: Jimmy Graham, Saints

Week 8 Opponent: at Broncos

If I was going to overthink these rankings, I would have been tempted to put Graham at No. 1. He is going against a Broncos' defense that has allowed the fourth most points to tight ends.

However, that is largely due to the fact they have played outstanding tight ends. Their defense against tight ends is more accurately measured by their 14th ranking against that position in Football Outsiders' rankings

Graham has injury concerns that need to be monitored, but the early returns look good. The Times-Picayune's Larry Holder reports that Coach Vitt said Graham looked "very, very good" in Wednesday's practice.

No. 3: Heath Miller, Steelers

Week 8 Opponent: Redskins

Miller is having a nice season, and he will have a great game this week.

The Redskins have allowed the second most points to tight ends this season, and it's not just because they have faced elite tight ends.

Football Outsiders ranks them 28th against tight ends. Washington is struggling mightily against the pass, and still, this is the lowest they are ranked by FO at any position. This will all lead to plenty of looks for Miller, who is third on the team in targets anyway and leads his team in touchdown receptions at five.

Miller has been quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's most reliable target, and he will get plenty of looks and production in this game.

No. 4: Tony Gonzalez, Falcons

Week 8 Opponent: at Eagles

Tony Gonzalez will roll into Philly off his worst game of the season while going against an Eagles team that has allowed the ninth fewest points to tight ends, but he is still a great play.

The Falcons are coming off a bye, and Gonzalez hasn't had a game where he was targeted fewer than five times this season.

The Eagles have strong corners, and that will ensure Gonzalez is heavily targeted. At 13, tight end is the lowest the Eagles rank in any of Football Outsiders' position pass defense rankings.

Gonzalez has a high ceiling and floor this week.
