Grigor Dimitrov Drops Tennis Shot of Year in Swiss Indoors at Basel

Through the legs is child's play.

We have seen tennis stars amaze us with their ability to drop a shot between their legs with such ease they might as well come with a yawn.

Here we have a tennis player who decides to go behind the back to make a shot, and comes away with magic.

A tip of the hat to SportsGrid for spotting this rare moment when the Swiss Indoors Tournament in Basel was the best thing on TV.

The shot comes in the match between Grigor Dimitrov and Viktor Troicki on October 23, a match Dimitrov would eventually win 6-3, 6-2.

After watching this shot, you have to wonder why they went through the rigmarole of having the rest of the clash.

It's not often that we drop everything and cover a first-round match from a tennis tournament in October, but this is a shot that demands our attention.

The best part is Dimitrov's reaction after the play. He was just surprised at the direction of the ball and had to resort to a circus shot.

When he got the winner, he walked away like he meant every last part of it—like a baller.
