Have you ever been brought a soda, and when you opened it, it spewed all over you? Yeah, you know what I mean! Kansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas State feel like that right about now. In a wild day in the Big 12 Tournament, three of the top four seeds are out after being shocked on day two.

The day started with Baylor beating Kansas, 71-64. Game two was a toss-up, with Texas coming out on top, 61-58. The third upset of the day involved Oklahoma losing at the buzzer to Oklahoma State, 71-70.

Missouri must have been the one that brought the soda. They played their normal first half: Wear down the opponent and take advantage of it in the second half. Tied at 31 at halftime, Missouri outscored Texas Tech 50-29 to win 81-60. They held Texas Tech to their lowest shooting percentage of the season.

Missouri has to be the clear favorite to win the Big 12 Championship. Missouri and Texas should be playing in the finals on Saturday. HOWEVER TEXAS WAS DEFEATED BY BAYLOR. So it is now Missouri vs Baylor on Saturday. Missouri beat Baylor at Mizzou Arena, 89-72. Missouri's defense will again wear down BAYLOR and that will lead them to another victory.

Where does that leave the Big 12? How many teams will get into the tournament? How many Tums will this tournament cause the selection committee to eat? What if somebody like Baylor wins the Big 12 tournament? What then? Who will get left out?

All of these are intriguing questions that will be answered soon. Let me know what you think!
