Michigan's 12-10 win over Michigan State on Saturday was the first time since 1995 that the Wolverines won without scoring a touchdown. That was not by design. Yet it wasn't too far off the coaches' overall intent. As offensive coordinator Al Borges assembled a game plan last week, he leaned toward functional over risky.
