Hall of Famer Bob Arum of Top Rank Promotions said middleweight champion Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik will fight The Contender's Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora next.
The fight will take place in either late June or July at the Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall in New Jersey.
This will be Pavlik's third defense of his middleweight titles, and it will be a PPV showing that will most likely be co-headlined with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fighting in Mexico much like Pavlik's last PPV fight co-headlined with Miguel Cotto fighting in Madison Square Garden.
Arum has stated that he may even try to get Antonio Margarito to fight in the Mexico portion of this PPV as well.
Kelly Pavlik quickly sky rocketed to fame taking on and knocking out great opposition such as Edison Miranda and Jermain Taylor. Many fight fans would love to see Pavlik step it up and fight another big exciting name and Sergio Mora does not quite cut it.
Personally, I was thinking more a long the lines of someone like Arthur Abraham. Now Pavlik vs. Abraham that is a fight that needs to happen.
KING J's Prediction on Pavlik vs. Mora: Pavlik by humiliating KO
