However, thanks to 16 points from senior guard Byron Eaton, the Cowboys edged the Sooners at the end.
With 2.3 seconds left, sophomore guard James Anderson knocked down two free throws to give Oklahoma State the lead 71-70.
Taylor Griffin attempted to throw a football-style pass to Blake Griffin. He missed a three-point attempt, and Tony Crocker missed the follow shot for the win.
The Cowboys practically clinched a tournament bid. Following this win, they are now 22-10.
