Matt Cassel Working in Kansas City

Adam PierreContributor IMarch 13, 2009

With Tom Brady injured early in the season, the pressure was on Matt Cassel—a NFL quarterback who had not started a game since high school. Now, he is starting on a new football team—the Kansas City Chiefs.

Matt Cassel performed well, for a backup, on the New England Patriots. He isn't Tom Brady, but he did well.

The Chiefs have Tony Gonzalez, but they do not have Randy Moss or Wes Welker. The Chiefs have a running back who is going around smacking chicks like Chris Brown.

I don't know how long Larry Johnson will be with the Chiefs. I am not too familiar with the Chiefs offensive line, but I give my best wishes to Matt Cassel.

I hope he makes it in the NFL!
