Don't look now, but we are already in Week 9 of the college football season. As the season has continued, the BCS has heated up, and we have some outstanding games to look forward to this week.

This week Notre Dame heads on the road to play Oklahoma, Texas Tech takes on Kansas State, Florida and Georgia meet up and conference races reach a critical point.

Before all the action gets under way, here is a prediction on the winner of each game from Week 9.

Clemson at Wake Forest

Hi-res-154450626_crop_650
Streeter Lecka/Getty Images

Since its loss to Florida State, Clemson has gotten back on track. Despite being on the road and playing on Thursday night, the Tigers have too much offensive firepower to lose this game.

Prediction: Clemson

Cincinnati at Louisville

Hi-res-154479786_crop_650
Joe Robbins/Getty Images

This game features two of the three teams tied atop the Big East standings. While both teams are extremely close, with the game being played at Louisville and Teddy Bridgewater playing very well, the Cardinals will go on to win.

Prediction: Louisville

Nevada at Air Force

Hi-res-151122049_crop_650
Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images

Despite suffering a tough loss last week, Nevada is looking to bounce back strong this week. The Air Force Falcons will keep this game close, but eventually the Wolf Pack will prove to be too much.

Prediction: Nevada

Tennessee at South Carolina

Hi-res-154481818_crop_650
Chris Trotman/Getty Images

The season is almost over for Tennessee, as a rough patch of schedule has completely taken the wind out of this program. This week the Vols head to South Carolina to play a Gamecocks team ready to end a slide of its own.

Prediction: South Carolina

Texas at Kansas

Hi-res-154488324_crop_650
Cooper Neill/Getty Images

While Kansas has shown signs of improvement, it is still in the basement of the Big 12. Look for the Longhorns to put up a ton of points and run away with this conference road game.

Prediction: Texas

Iowa at Northwestern

Hi-res-153546655_crop_650
Justin K. Aller/Getty Images

While Iowa has gotten off to a decent start, Northwestern has had one of the most surprising starts in the nation. Behind timely offense, look for the Wildcats to take control of this game and earn their seventh win of the season.

Prediction: Northwestern

Kentucky at Missouri

Hi-res-154077471_crop_650
Jamie Squire/Getty Images

While Missouri has struggled in its new conference, Kentucky has struggled as well. Playing at home, Missouri should be able to expose an awful Wildcats defense and win this SEC game.

Prediction: Missouri

Temple at Pittsburgh

Hi-res-154620698_crop_650
Rich Schultz/Getty Images

This week has new Big East member Temple heading on the road to play Pittsburgh. The Panthers have been inconsistent all year, which should open the door to a big Owl road victory.

Prediction: Temple

Ball State at Army

Hi-res-152057021_crop_650
Joe Robbins/Getty Images

Ball State has been having an outstanding season so far, and it is not going to stop this week against Army. Army has struggled to find any rhythm, and it will show as the Cardinals remain in control all game long.

Prediction: Ball State

Indiana at Illinois

Hi-res-154077557_crop_650
Gregory Shamus/Getty Images

In the Big Ten, Illinois and Indiana are two teams struggling on both sides of the ball. What this game will ultimately come down to is Illinois' ability to make a couple of big stops and earn a home win.

Prediction: Illinois

Northern Illinois at Western Michigan

Hi-res-151230160_crop_650
Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images

Northern Illinois heads on the road this week, and its game against Western Michigan will not prove to be much of a challenge. Look for the Huskies offense to control this game from start to finish and for them to win big.

Prediction: Northern Illinois

Ole Miss at Arkansas

Hi-res-154087920_crop_650
Wesley Hitt/Getty Images

While this season started out awfully for Arkansas, it has put a couple of wins together and is now 3-4. This week Arkansas has a home date against Ole Miss, and while the Rebels will play this game tight, look for the Hogs to make it three straight and get back to .500.

Prediction: Arkansas

NC State at North Carolina

Hi-res-153594717_crop_650
Streeter Lecka/Getty Images

After losing to Duke, North Carolina returns home to play NC State. The Wolfpack offense has been hot as of late, and Mike Glennon should be able to keep NC State on track and win on the road.

Prediction: NC State

Maryland at Boston College

Hi-res-154077947_crop_650
Geoff Burke/Getty Images

Very quietly, the Maryland Terps are having a strong season under Randy Edsall. This week they head on the road to play one of the worst teams in the ACC and should be able to earn another victory.

Prediction: Maryland

Southern Miss at Rice

Hi-res-153059097_crop_650
Bob Levey/Getty Images

It is amazing to see how far Southern Miss has fallen since pulling off the upset over Houston in the Conference USA title game last year. With a game on the road against Rice this week, look for that fall to continue.

Prediction: Rice

Utah State at UTSA

Hi-res-152316838_crop_650
Tom Lynn/Getty Images

Utah State has gotten off to an incredible start so far this year. While UTSA got off to a good start, it hit a wall when it started playing better competition. The Aggies should have no problem earning a win this week.

Prediction: Utah State

Colorado at Oregon

Hi-res-154364428_crop_650
Christian Petersen/Getty Images

With one week remaining before the Ducks and Trojans battle, the Ducks have a home game with Colorado. Between the offensive weapons of Oregon and the defensive limitations of Colorado, this one will be over by the half.

Prediction: Oregon

UCLA at Arizona State

Hi-res-154077382_crop_650
Stephen Dunn/Getty Images

Arizona State is going to be eager to rebound after being humbled at home by Oregon. Unfortunately for the Sun Devils, they are extremely thin on defense, and the Bruins will take advantage of that this week.

Prediction: UCLA

BYU at Georgia Tech

Hi-res-152589231_crop_650
Joe Robbins/Getty Images

This game features two teams that have not lived up to expectations this year. Behind a strong running performance from the Yellow Jackets, look for Georgia Tech to control the clock and win this game.

Prediction: Georgia Tech

Memphis at SMU

Hi-res-153102705_crop_650
Cooper Neill/Getty Images

After blowing the doors off Houston last week, SMU returns to play against Memphis. With the offense being as explosive as it has been, look for the Mustangs to pour it on Memphis this week.

Prediction: SMU

Florida vs. Georgia

Hi-res-154485995_crop_650
Andy Lyons/Getty Images

This year the rivalry between Florida and Georgia may decide who goes to the SEC title game. While both teams are playing great, look for Georgia to keep things close and pull out a win late in the fourth quarter to stun the Gators.

Prediction: Georgia

Texas Tech at Kansas State

Hi-res-154482291_crop_650
Tom Pennington/Getty Images

Both teams are coming into this game red-hot  In the past two weeks both schools have posted impressive wins to set up a great matchup this week. While offense will be present throughout the game, look for the defense of the Red Raiders to make a couple of timely stops and help them earn a huge road win.

Prediction: Texas Tech

USC at Arizona

Hi-res-154483826_crop_650
Stephen Dunn/Getty Images

One week before playing Oregon, USC heads on the road to play Arizona. While the defense may give up some points, the Trojans offense is potent enough to keep up and pull away in the second half.

Prediction: USC

Duke at Florida State

Hi-res-153590396_crop_650
Streeter Lecka/Getty Images

While Duke is off to a great start this year, it is not on the level of the Florida State Seminoles. Duke may keep things close in the first half, but the Seminoles will win this game easily.

Prediction: Florida State

Kent State at Rutgers

Hi-res-154620707_crop_650
Rich Schultz/Getty Images

Both Rutgers and Kent State have gotten off to great starts this year. In this game, the Rutgers defense will be extremely tough for Kent State to beat, and the Scarlet Knights will remain undefeated.

Prediction: Rutgers

Ohio at Miami (OH)

Hi-res-151988335_crop_650
Rob Carr/Getty Images

Ohio is still undefeated and looking to continue this great year against Miami of Ohio. Behind the offensive power from Tyler Tettleton, look for Ohio to pull ahead early in the second half and never give up the lead.

Prediction: Ohio

Boise State at Wyoming

Hi-res-154481593_crop_650
Otto Kitsinger III/Getty Images

While it may not be receiving the attention it usually does, Boise State has continued to win since opening up the season with a loss. Look for that trend to continue but not make a difference in the national eye.

Prediction: Boise State

Michigan State at Wisconsin

Hi-res-6674336_crop_650
Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

This season has turned into a complete train wreck for Michigan State. The Spartans have four losses, and with this week's trip to Wisconsin, the Badgers are about to hand them their fifth loss of the year.

Prediction: Wisconsin

Purdue at Minnesota

Hi-res-6674346_crop_650
Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

In this Big Ten matchup, both Purdue and Minnesota enter the game with a three-game losing streak. While the teams seem to be evenly matched, the Gophers offense should be able to create enough offense to pull out a big win.

Prediction: Minnesota

Navy at East Carolina

Hi-res-123955611_crop_650
Streeter Lecka/Getty Images

Navy has slowly started to turn the corner this year. In large part due to its defense, it has turned things around. After three straight wins, the Midshipmen are heading on the road, and despite their recent success, they will drop this game to East Carolina.

Prediction: East Carolina

Fresno State at New Mexico

Hi-res-154080515_crop_650
Otto Kitsinger III/Getty Images

Fresno State is having a strong bounce-back season. With a much-improved defense and offense, the Bulldogs will have no problem taking out New Mexico.

Prediction: Fresno State

Eastern Michigan at Bowling Green

Hi-res-151225437_crop_650
Sam Greenwood/Getty Images

After earning its first win of the season, Eastern Michigan heads out on the road to take on Bowling Green. The Falcons are having a great year, and this game against Eastern Michigan will give them their sixth win of the season.

Prediction: Bowling Green

TCU at Oklahoma State

Hi-res-153271815_crop_650
Christian Petersen/Getty Images

TCU is learning what life is like in a major conference. Week after week the Horned Frogs are taking on strong competition, and this week they draw Oklahoma State. If this game wasn't on the road, I would take TCU, but the Cowboys will defend their home field with a win.

Prediction: Oklahoma State

Toledo at Buffalo

Hi-res-136213143_crop_650
Rob Carr/Getty Images

Toledo is riding high off a huge win for the program over Cincinnati this past week. The only thing that could slow down or stop the Rockets this week is if they do not show up to the stadium.

Prediction: Toledo

Akron at Central Michigan

Hi-res-152584540_crop_650
Matthew Holst/Getty Images

While neither team is having a great season, Central Michigan has the potential to start building on small successes this year. Playing at home, its air attack should be enough to zip past Akron.

Prediction: Central Michigan

North Texas at Middle Tennessee

Hi-res-154485946_crop_650
Stacy Revere/Getty Images

This is a big game in the Sun Belt for both teams. These two teams are within a game of each other overall, and both only have one loss in conference. While it will be close, the Blue Raiders will pull this one out late at home.

Prediction: Middle Tennessee

UAB at Tulane

Hi-res-152581723_crop_650
Kirk Irwin/Getty Images

A battle between two teams that are 1-6 will not draw a lot of attention, but that is the storyline for UAB versus Tulane. While both teams are awful, the UAB offense is slightly better and has a greater chance of big plays and helping the Blazers win.

Prediction: UAB

Texas State at San Jose State

Hi-res-124884589_crop_650
Stephen Dunn/Getty Images

San Jose State is having a great season. So far the Spartans are 5-2 and getting contributions from players on both sides of the ball. Look for that to continue at home as they move to 6-2 with a win over Texas State.

Prediction: San Jose State

UTEP at Houston

Hi-res-153059092_crop_650
Bob Levey/Getty Images

After a brutal start to the season, Houston is starting to move in the right direction. On the other hand, UTEP is continuing to struggle, which means the Cougars should have little issues with earning a win this week.

Prediction: Houston

Troy at Florida Atlantic

Hi-res-125481318_crop_650
Wesley Hitt/Getty Images

Troy rides its hot streak into this week, having won three of its last four, and will likely leave this week still riding it. The Trojans go up against an overmatched Florida Atlantic team that really lacks depth and skill on both sides of the ball.

Prediction: Troy

Ohio State at Penn State

Hi-res-154454817_crop_650
Kirk Irwin/Getty Images

Regardless of who plays at quarterback for Ohio State this week, the run that Penn State has been on is coming to an end. The Nittany Lions have been overachieving and will come up short against the Buckeyes.

Prediction: Ohio State

Western Kentucky at FIU

Hi-res-151589092_crop_650
Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images

Western Kentucky has been playing some great football so far this year. After the rough one-point loss they suffered last week, look for the Hilltoppers to take out their frustrations on FIU this week.

Prediction: Western Kentucky

Washington State at Stanford

Hi-res-153102972_crop_650
Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images

Washington State has not had the kind of season it was hoping for. This week against Stanford that trend will continue, as the Cardinal offense and defense will be too much for the Cougars to handle.

Prediction: Stanford

Texas A&M at Auburn

Hi-res-154447505_crop_650
Ronald Martinez/Getty Images

Despite its loss last week, Texas A&M played LSU really close. This week the Aggies head on the road and should clean up against Auburn as the Tigers continue to have a season to forget.

Prediction: Texas A&M

Hawaii at Colorado State

Hi-res-151130389_crop_650
Doug Pensinger/Getty Images

Both of these teams have a lot of issues and are struggling. With the game being played at home for Colorado State, I'll take the Rams in a really close game.

Prediction: Colorado State

Syracuse at South Florida

Hi-res-154114807_crop_650
Rich Schultz/Getty Images

This game is a lot more important for Syracuse than South Florida. On the year the Bulls have three conference losses, and Syracuse only has one. Look for the Orange to find a way to leave this game with an important conference victory.

Prediction: Syracuse

Baylor at Iowa State

Hi-res-154068369_crop_650
Matthew Holst/Getty Images

Iowa State has continued to give teams issues so far this year. Despite being on a two-game losing streak, look for the Cyclones to use their balanced attack and continue to see improvements in the program.

Prediction: Iowa State

Massachusetts at Vanderbilt

Hi-res-154454637_crop_650
Frederick Breedon/Getty Images

Massachusetts continues to struggle badly in the FBS division. On the other hand, Vanderbilt is fighting to earn a spot in a bowl game, and this is one it has to have and will win.

Prediction: Vanderbilt

South Alabama at Louisiana-Monroe

Hi-res-6579434_crop_650
John Reed-US PRESSWIRE

Louisiana-Monroe is still on the high of its big conference win over Western Kentucky and faces South Alabama this week. The Jaguars are not a threat to stop the roll the Warhawks are on, so look for a Louisiana-Monroe win.

Prediction: Louisiana-Monroe

Notre Dame at Oklahoma

Hi-res-154074190_crop_650
Tom Pennington/Getty Images

In perhaps the game of the week, Notre Dame heads to Norman to take on Oklahoma. Both teams are playing extremely well, and it will likely come down to the Irish defense versus the Sooners offense. In the end, look for the Sooners to end the Irish's perfect season.

Prediction: Oklahoma

Michigan at Nebraska

Hi-res-153595003_crop_650
Jamie Sabau/Getty Images

After breaking up the run that Michigan State had over them, the Wolverines now head on the road to play Nebraska. Unless the Michigan offense wakes up in a big way, look for the Cornhuskers to lead this game the entire 60 minutes.

Prediction: Nebraska

UNLV at San Diego State

Hi-res-151251322_crop_650
Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images

In a game that will not receive much attention, UNLV heads to San Diego State. The Aztecs are looking for their sixth win of the season, and the Rebels will not be able to stop them from taking it.

Prediction: San Diego State

Louisiana Tech at New Mexico State

Hi-res-151620521_crop_650
Bob Levey/Getty Images

With a strong offense, Louisiana Tech heads on the road to take on New Mexico State. If not for their defense, the Bulldogs might still be perfect on the season, but it will not come down to that this week, as the Bulldogs should blow things open early.

Prediction: Louisiana Tech

UCF at Marshall

Hi-res-6678962_crop_650
Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

UCF is still undefeated in conference play and takes on Marshall this week. The Thundering Herd only have one conference loss, so this game has great importance to both teams, but the victory will eventually go to the Knights in a close game.

Prediction: UCF

Mississippi State at Alabama

Hi-res-154077360_crop_650
Jamie Squire/Getty Images

This is an extremely interesting game, as Mississippi State has been playing great football. This week we will find out how good the Bulldogs really are when they play Alabama on the road. While it may stay close, the Tide will win this game.

Prediction: Alabama

Cal at Utah

Hi-res-154458966_crop_650
Ezra Shaw/Getty Images

While Cal has been bad this year, Utah has been dreadful. The Utes offense is struggling to score, and Cal will be ready to take advantage by coming out with a solid road performance.

Prediction: Cal

Oregon State at Washington

Hi-res-154214033_crop_650
Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images

Oregon State is about to start getting tested this year. This week it heads on the road to play Washington in a huge game in the Pac-12 North. While the Beavers have been hot, they finally cool off this week and drop their first game of the year.

Prediction: Washington
