Barcelona vs. Celtic: Score, Highlights and Grades

Tuesday's Champions League match between Barcelona and Celtic figured to be a fantastic affair.

And that it was, with Jordi Alba scoring the game-winning goal in extra time as Barca stunned Celtic 2-1.

This is what the great teams do—find a way to win when they start off in a bad spot. Despite Celtic scoring first, Barca prevailed.

Highlights

Georgios Samaras scored the first goal of the match with a fantastic header off a swinging cross.

Barcelona tied it up at then end of the first half, and Alba put the finishing touch on a beautiful curling pass by Adriano to boost Barcelona to victory.

Iniesta's goal in the 45th minute helped Barcelona avoid what could have been an embarrassing loss.

When it looked inevitable that Barca would have to settle with a tie, Alba shocked Celtic and gave his team a 2-1 victory in extra time. The unbelievable goal helped Barca gain distance in the group.

Georgios Samaras: A

Samaras' goal in the 18th minute was huge for Celtic early on, but Alba's goal in extra time crushed the side in the end.

Fraser Forster: B+

You can't exactly blame Forster for Barca scoring two goals. He had 11 saves in the match, and if it wouldn't have been for him, it simply would have been a blowout.
