Illinois concluded their regular season with a 63-64 loss at Penn State The game was tight the entire way and Illinois had a two point lead at halftime. The Illinoisoffense was led by Demetri McCamey who had 16 points and seven assists. McCamey is attempting a repeat selection to the All-Tournament team after being chosen last year.

 

Michigan advanced to the second round of the Big Ten tourney with a 73-45 dismantling of Iowa.

The Wolverines opened up a 21 point lead by halftime and cruised home from there. DeShawn Sims scored 27 points and Manny Harris added 18 along with seven boards and eight assists. Michigan shot a combined 59.9 percent from the floor and made 10 out of 22 three point attempts.
