Alabama vs. LSU: Can Tigers Find an Offense with Two Weeks to Prepare for Bama?

Barrett Sallee@BarrettSalleeSEC Football Lead WriterOctober 23, 2012

Despite having one loss, No. 6 LSU finds itself in the thick of the SEC West and BCS National Championship race.

The schedule-makers were kind to the Tigers, giving Les Miles' crew the week off prior to hosting No. 1 Alabama in Death Valley. Topping the priority list for the Tigers this week is finding a passing game, because as has been the case for the last few years, an aerial attack has been more myth than reality.

Will quarterback Zach Mettenberger come of age with two weeks to prepare for the Tide, or is he the next in line in a trend of disappointing quarterbacks in Red Stick?

B/R contributor Marc Kohn and SEC lead writer Barrett Sallee preview the LSU vs. Alabama game in this edition of "The Program."
