Despite last week’s TNA Impact Wrestling letting most fans down with the lack of build following the company’s biggest pay-per-view, Bound for Glory, this week’s edition honestly can’t get much worse.

TNA has to make drastic changes starting this week or fear hitting some of the lowest ratings since the show transitioned time slots.

With Jeff Hardy defending his new World Title, more Aces and Eights revelations and so much more, the hope is that TNA can return to the format that made it fun to watch just a few months ago.

Where: Universal Studios, Orlando, Fla.

When: Thursday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. ET

World Title Match

Despite coming to the ring with could be the worst looking world title in wrestling history, Jeff Hardy is now the TNA Champion and will defend it Thursday against the No. 1 contender of Hulk Hogan’s choosing.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Why Does Hogan Get to Pick?

Instead of having two hours of nothing last week, why wouldn’t TNA add the four candidates for the No. 1 contender spot to a match and let the winner go on to lose against Hardy? That’s because they’d miss the chance to have a great backstage segment where Hogan eliminates the wrestlers with terrible logic.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Swanton Bombs

No fan can question how entertaining Hardy is in the ring, but his mic work and promo skills leave a lot to be desired. While the company wants to make sure Hardy re-signs with the company, allowing him to be the face of TNA has yet to be validated as the correct move.

Aces and Eights

While some fans loved the inclusion of Devon as part of the Aces and Eights gang, there is no questioning that this storyline has dragged on far too long. TNA must reveal more members or tease when it will reveal the leader.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Why Is This Dragging on so Long?

There is no doubt that the man playing the leader of the gang was Eric Bischoff a few weeks ago, so unless TNA has planned a huge swerve, TNA fans should want this anti-climatic reveal over with as soon as possible.

Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Festus Reveals

Despite having the Bound for Glory stage to reveal the leader, the TNA decision makers have decided that they want to drag this storyline on as long as they can. If you don’t like the idea of every match being ruined and every episode ending in anarchy, TNA will drive you crazy.

Rob Van Dam & Zema Ion

While there was no real build to the match between Rob Van Dam and Zema Ion at Bound for Glory, the hope was that these two would begin an extended feud that culminated in Ion winning his title back and getting the rub from RVD.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Is TNA Doing This the Right Way?

As hard as it is to believe with the current state of TNA, the angle between Ion and RVD has been played perfectly so far. As long as Ion doesn’t win the title tonight but still gets the upper hand in the battle, this will be a long storyline that satisfies all fans.

Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Stolen Catchphrases

As great as this feud can and should be, there is little doubt that TNA’s recent decisions have been insane to say the least. There is no doubt the battle between RVD and Ion should take at least a full month, but TNA having Van Dam drop the title this week wouldn’t shock me.
