special report big news that manhattan womens  head basketball coach mindi hill has resigned her position as announced by director of athletics bob byrnes on thursday. manhattan will begin a national search for new coach immediately. mindi hill say this  was not easy decision but i think it was the right one moving forward for my self and the program.  i enjoyed my time at manhattan but i felt it was time me move on both personally and professionally . i  wish the program much success in the future.  under mindi  hill leadership  the lady jasper excelled in the class room with 24 student - athletes  named to the MAAC all - academic team including a league high six this season . additonally ,follow the 2004 _2005 campaign , manhattan was ranked 13 by the womens basketball coaches association wbca for the team grade point average among division 1 prograns . on the court mentored nine different all Maac preformers including 2009 maac rookie team selectior alyssa herrington and lindsey loutsenhizer , kelly regan a second team all maac selection in 2008-2009 and first team all maac choice caitlin flood each reached the 1,000 points plateau under hill guideance . mindi hill came to riverdale after a decorated four year stint as head coach at stfrancis pa here recond there was 74-46  617 pct she led the red flash to three northeast confernce regular season and post season championship and made three ncaa tournament appearances. and her recond is 74-46 617 recond under hill the highest winning percentage in the rogram history. the red flash also placed in the top 25 national academic raking twice  and mindi hill leaves manhattan  recond of this season 10-20 2008-09
