In their finale of a three-game road trip, the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30 p.m. tonight, a definite preview of the upcoming playoffs that pits the best teams in the West against one another for the last time during the regular season.

With the Lakers 102-91 win over Houston on Wednesday, they stopped their two-game losing skid and hope now to build some steam with only 18 more games left in the regular season.

The Spurs were idle after beating Charlotte 100-86 at home Tuesday, meaning they will are rested for this matchup, maybe giving them a bit of an edge.

"We've been playing pretty solid," forward Kurt Thomas said after Tuesday's victory. "We hit a few bumps in the road when we lost a couple of games. But I think we've bounced back and hopefully we can show that on Thursday night."

Lamar Odom will be back for this game after his one-game suspension during the Ariza flagrant foul incident, where he left the bench during their loss to Portland.

Lakers center Andrew Bynum and Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will not play tonight.
