Breakout Fantasy Football Player for Week 8

Owen ClarkCorrespondent IIIOctober 23, 2012

By Week 8 you should know if you’ve got an elite fantasy QB. If you don’t have a guy who is locked into giving you 20-plus points every Sunday, you should be out there looking for matchup plays where you can steal a surprisingly good QB performance.

This week that performance is going to come from Sam Bradford, who is going against a truly terrible Patriots pass defense.

The Pats have given up double-digit fantasy points to every single QB they have faced this season. That includes being torched by Joe Flacco, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Russell Wilson.

If that’s not enough, Tom Brady finally has all of his weapons back on offense and is going to put up enough points that opposing QBs will have to pass in order to keep up.

As for Bradford, he’s coming off three consecutive double-digit fantasy weeks and seems to have adjusted to life without Danny Amendola.

Great matchup, in the dome, in a game the Rams really need to win, Bradford is in for a breakout Week 8.
