Tag-Team Power, Pt. 2: The Motor City Machine Guns

Lucas BerndtCorrespondent IMarch 12, 2009

I know I said this series was going to take place weekly, but I couldn't stay away. This go-round we're talking about The Motor City Machine Guns.

The Motor City Machine Guns were wrestlers in Japan for some time before returning to the states to fight on TNA starting in 2007. This tag team is comprised of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley.

These two make one of my favorite tag teams. These guys know how to fight and could easily beat Beer Money Inc., in my mind. I mean, Shelley is the X-Division champ and they held the tag title on the show they wrestled for in Japan.

The only thing stopping them is Suicide. Repeatedly he comes out and starts beating them after a match. This really pisses me off and I want somebody to pound Suicide.

Now I also have to say that their skills in a ladder match are very good. I saw one where if I remember right it had them, Jay Lethal, and Consequences Creed in a ladder match for the X-Division title and Shelley walked away with the title after he and Chris blew the opposition away.

That's all for this round come back next time where I will discuss the Hardy Boyz.

Where can I comment?
