Now EC Red Bull Salzburg is in a position to benefit from the current NHL lockout. Swedish defender Tobias Enström is to join the Red Bulls with immediate effect. Not only is he a top player, he is also extremely experienced. Over the last five years the 27-year-old Swede has played 380 games in the NHL, plus he was Swedish champion with MODO and has made multiple World Championships and Olympic Games appearances with the Swedish national team. Tobias Enström spent the 2011-2012 season with the Winnipeg Jets, where he was assistant captain – a position he also enjoyed with the Atlanta Thrashers in the season before that –, racking up 6 goals and 27 assists from 62 games.
