In the battle of rookie quarterbacks, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts edged Brandon Weeden and the Cleveland Browns.
Weeden had a big game in defeat, though, finishing with 264 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. If not for a dropped touchdown pass by Josh Gordon in the fourth quarter, Weeden and the Browns may have won.
Speaking of Gordon, the rookie wide receiver made fantasy football owners happy again this week with 59 yards and a touchdown.
Luck had a rough game through the air, completing just 16 of 29 passes for 186 yards with zero touchdowns, though he didn't throw an interception, either. He made up for it, though, by running the ball in for two touchdowns.
The Browns harassed Luck all game, coming up with three sacks and six quarterback hits. On the other side, the Colts had trouble getting to Weeden, coming up empty with zero sacks, though they did hit Weeden six times.
The Browns fell to 1-6 on the season and will host the San Diego Chargers in Week 8, while the Colts improved to 3-3 and will travel to face the Tennessee Titans.
