The Dallas Cowboys gutted out an important road win against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7, winning by a score of 19-14 to stay within one game of the New York Giants in the loss column in the NFC East.

Tony Romo made some crucial plays late in the game to come from behind, and kicker Dan Bailey did his part with two late field goals to put the 'Boys on top.

Romo finished the game with 227 yards and a touchdown, completing 24-of-34 passes in a turnover-free game for him.

Cam Newton's sophomore struggles continued in this contest, as he threw one interception and lost one fumble. He finished the game with nearly 300 total yards, including 64 yards on the ground, but his turnovers cost his team the game.

Miles Austin had a big game for the Cowboys, catching five passes for 97 yards and one touchdown.

Rookie linebacker Luke Kuechly was all over the field for the Panthers, making 15 tackles (eight solo) and recovering a fumble.

The Cowboys improved to 3-3 and will have a chance to make the NFC East interesting in Week 8 when they host the Giants. The Panthers fell to 1-5 and will travel to face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
