An investigation is under way after it was alleged that 'the special one', Jose Mourinho, assaulted a United  fan after the champions League tie.

It was after the defeat at Old Trafford where he supposedly punched a red devils fan.

Police have confirmed that a complaint has been made and have asked United for CCTV of the area.

The fan was shouting "You're going home, you're going home" to the Inter Milan boss before the assault happened. The complaint was filed at Stretford police station, close to the football ground.

The fan was pleased that he saw his side progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League after goals from Vidic and Ronaldo.

The Italian media are not going lightly on the former Chelsea manager, as he was unable to get Inter passed this stage of the tournament.

The manager and the team are now back in Italy hanging their heads in shame.
