It's a classic joke, but not that PSU. Portland State University won their second straight Big Sky Conference championship and earned the conference's automatic invitation to the big dance. Meanwhile, the real PSU, Penn State, will play their first game in the Big Ten Conference at 5pm tonight against Indiana. The Nittany Lions and Hoosiers tip off at 5pm on ESPN 2.

In the Big East Tournament, the Villanova Wildcats will finally hit the floor, and will do so against 24-8 Marquette in possibly the best of the games on the schedule for today. Villanova and Marquette tip off today at 2pm on ESPN.

In the Atlantic 10 tournament, Big Five rivals Temple and Saint Joseph's will face each other in the second round down in Atlantic City. The game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet today at 2:30pm.

No conference champions will be determined today in the college basketball world. The Patriot League will be the lone championship settled tomorrow, with American and Holy Cross playing for the conference's only invitation to the tournament.

Pennsylvania had its first team officially clinch a spot in the tournament last night with the Robert Morris Colonials. Robert Morris defeated Mount Saint Mary's to capture the Northeast Conference championship and the conference's automatic bid.

Congratulations to Robert Morris. There will definitely be more Pennsylvania teams heading to the tournament though, with Villanova and Pitt locks and Penn State, Temple, and Saint Joseph's all still alive.
