The final score will not indicate how much the Pittsburgh Steelers dominated the Cincinnati Bengals.
After falling behind 14-3 in the first half, the Steelers entered the locker room tied at 14 and dominated the Bengals in the second half.
The loss was the Bengals third straight and drops them to 3-4—including 1-3 in the division. The Steelers raised their record to 3-3 as they earned their first division win of the season.
Final Score

Bengals- 17
Final Score:
Steelers 24
Bengals 17
The Steelers gets back into the AFC North race with the win while the Bengals are slowly fading out of contention.
And with that run by Dwyer, the Steelers will win. An impressive effort by a makeshift offensive line and thin backfield.
2:00 4th Quarter
Marvin Lewis appears as though he will drop to 1-9 against the Steelers as Pittsburgh is just two minutes away from leaving Cincinnati with the win.
2:40 4th Quarter
With limited replay views, that appears to be a catch by Wallace. While one hand left the ball, the other remained underneath the ball and he had possession.
Regardless, there is no conclusive evidence to overturn the call.
3:57 4th Quarter
Awful coaching by the Bengals on that last drive. They needed more than a three-and-out and they once again failed to successfully get the ball in the hands of one of the best receivers in the league.
Emmanuel Sanders pulling a page from the Giants playbook with the "leg cramp."
7:38 4th Quarter
That was the Bengals shot.
They stopped the Steelers and got the ball back with plenty of time and didn't take advantage of it like every other road team has this year.
At this point, their defense needs to create a turnover or a quick three-and-out if they want to have a chance. Remember, Lewis wasted a time out on that terrible challenge earlier in the game.
10:15 4th Quarter
The Bengals could be in some serious trouble right now. After not being able to run the ball all season, the Steelers are 30 yards above their season average and show no signs of stopping.
If this continues, not only will the Steelers run the clock, but they will put more points on the board.
12:24 4th Quarter
What happened to the Bengals offense? The Steelers' defense hasn't played that much better, the Bengals just aren't making the same plays that they were earlier in the game.
14:16 4th Quarter
He doesn't need much room to run and when he gets it, Rainey makes things happen.
Rainey gets his first career touchdown on an explosive play up the middle and now the Steelers have control.
Pittsburgh's defense picked it up in the second half, but it is the fourth quarter and they are ripe to give up another lead on the road.
Steelers - 24
Bengals - 17
End of the 3rd Quarter
A big catch and run puts the Steelers in business heading into the fourth quarter. I'm still perplexed by Lewis' challenge.
Even if the Steelers score here, the Bengals have to like where they stand. Pittsburgh's defense hasn't been able to maintain leads in the fourth quarter on the road.
0:24 3rd Quarter
That is a terrible challenge by Lewis. Wallace was down so it wasn't a fumble and he only gained two yards on the play. Not worth it at all and a wasted time out in a very tight game.
I think Burfict just swallowed Chris Rainey.
The Bengals must just smile on every punt. Brown gets a big return, but they know its going to get called back because of a holding.
It is unbelievable that Hampton gets so much playing time for the Steelers. He has a backup center just destroying him off of the ball. Get Steve McLendon in there.
What is going on here? After an offensive show for much of the game, we see back-to-back punts. Something has to give here on this drive.
I am still waiting for Dalton and Green to connect on a big play.
5:30 3rd Quarter
Carlos Dunlap stepping up on the last couple of plays. A big reason why the Steelers have to punt here.
I love when a player makes a nice tackle and the guy who got tackled pats him on the head. That's respect and what the game is all about. Well done by the Bengals and Steelers there.
Nice job by the officials to get the call right.
Wow, I have no clue how the Bengals were not flagged on that fair catch by Brown. They have to call that one, you cannot touch the returner when they call for a fair catch.
7:26 3rd Quarter
After not having a deflected pass all year, the Steelers have three tonight. Ziggy Hood just had another.
8:18 3rd Quarter
Things are beginning to settle down as each team gets a field goal in the third. The defenses are starting to tighten up and make the plays when they need to.
Pittsburgh should be concerned as the Bengals are now starting to get a little more pressure on Roethlisberger. Atkins absolutely manhandling of Colon will be something to watch moving forward.
Steelers - 17
Bengals - 17
11:09 3rd Quarter
Not the exact start that the Bengals were hoping for, but they did a smart thing to take a shot for a score. Even though they didn't convert, getting a field goal on the opening drive of the half puts the pressure back on the Steelers' offense.
Steelers - 14
Bengals - 17
12:20 3rd Quarter
The Bengals run blocking is impressive. They are three yards off the ball as Dalton is handing the ball off.
NBC has some innovative graphics like that angle one they just used to show Harrison's lean on pass rushes.
