Regis Jesuit's Missy Franklin Commits to Attend California

Missy Franklin, Centennial's four-time gold medalist at the London Olympics, gave an oral commitment Saturday to attend California, her father confirmed.

The Regis Jesuit High senior will be reunited with Cal coach Teri McKeever, who was the head Olympic women's coach. Franklin chose Cal over Texas, Georgia and Southern California. She canceled her scheduled visit to USC for next Friday after deciding on the Golden Bears.
