One possible player who could be moved over the January transfer window is United winger Nani.
The 25-year-old Portuguese international has recently stated via The Sun (h/t Goal) that he is unsure about his future with Manchester United. In light of his lack of appearances for United's first team this season, the possible departure of Nani is a real option for the Red Devils.
Something in me says that this one might well happen.
Sir Alex Ferguson's shift toward a midfield diamond means that Nani is battling Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia for perhaps just one winger's position—a battle that would see him come in third and without any significant game time.
According to The Daily Mail, Nani is believed to be frustrated with the club, and vice versa, and with no significant game time appearing for the Portuguese international, he might well decide to see if he can get himself a decent offer on the transfer market.
United have the likes of Valencia, Young, Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Tom Cleverley, Paul Scholes, Shinji Kagawa, Nick Powell and even Wayne Rooney as potential wingers this year, so they don't need Nani to remain at the club, as much as they would like him to.
If they can get an offer of around £20-25 million from an interested Italian club, you'd have to think that Ferguson could end up saying goodbye to Nani this January.
