Kyna Treacy Rumored to Have Enjoyed a Date with Yankees' Alex Rodriguez
The sexy subplot to the Yankees' messy end in 2012 just got a little more scandalous, as reports hint at a date Kyna Treacy may have shared with Alex Rodriguez after Game 1 of the ALCS.
The Daily Telegraph (h/t Larry Brown Sports) reports the woman who was allegedly the person of affection for slugger Alex Rodriguez while he was riding the pine actually went on a date with the Yankee shortly after the game.
The report catches us up with details we already know as reported through the many websites and tabloids following the first of four failed games in the ALCS.
A-Rod apparently sent a ball into the stands asking for the bikini model's number, and the rest is New York fodder.
What we didn't now was this.
And, according to friends of Treacy, Rodriguez called her up after the game and the pair later went on a date.
"I think she was pleasantly taken aback by the whole thing," a friend of Treacy said.
I am sure A-Rod's girlfriend and former WWE Diva, Torrie Wilson, may have some thoughts on this.
On October 16, she tweeted the following, and has yet to tweet since.
Gotta love the gossip mills. It's amazing how ppl get their kicks, huh?— Torrie Wilson (@Torrie11) October 17, 2012
Treacy and her friend Kate Quinn, who was also at the game, were both on with Inside Edition, video over at Larry Brown Sports.
In the interview, Treacy admits to not knowing much about Rodriguez, other than being told by her pal that he once dated Cameron Diaz.
Towards the end, they make reference to a second Yankees player who was interested in the friends as well.
The plot is very much thickened.
The Telegraph report also issues Treacy moved to New York after splitting with her boyfriend two months ago.
Now her current relationship status will be a point of interest for Yankees fans who just suffered a sweep out of the playoffs at the hands of the Detroit Tigers.
