When: Mar. 12-15

Where: Georgia Dome, Atlanta

Outlook: Wake Forest, Clemson and Florida State are all playing to improve seeding and assure a protected seed in the NCAA tournament. While Virginia Tech, Miami, and Maryland are trying to play their way in.

Throw in classic Dick Vitale commentary and it’s almost impossible not to be pumped up for all the action in Atlanta, baby!

Bubble Burst

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - FEBRUARY 15: Cory Raji #11 and Biko Paris #5 of the Boston College Eagles celebrate from the bench after the Eagles defeated the Duke Blue Devils on February 15, 2009 at Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Boston College defe

Boston College. Rakim Sanders game winner against Georgia Tech on Saturday kept the Eagles alive for a bid come Selection Sunday.

BC needs a win Thursday against improving Virginia to feel safe.

Dark Horse

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - FEBRUARY 14: Toney Douglas #23 of the Florida State Seminoles goes to the basket as Jeff Teague #0 of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons watches on during their game at Lawrence Joel Coliseum on February 14, 2009 in Winston-Salem, North Ca

Florida State. In a conference filled with stars, Toney Douglas has been overshadowed for most of the year. The senior is averaging 20.8 point per game for a very athletic Seminoles team.

Florida State’s six conference losses this season have come by an average of less than five points.

Upset Watch

TAMPA, FL - MARCH 11: Head coach Sidney Lowe of the North Carolina State Wolfpack encourages his team against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship on March 11, 2007 at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida.

Look for North Carolina State to take advantage of a deflated Maryland team.

The Terps have been sputtering since beating North Carolina at home on Feb. 21.

Predicted Winner

North Carolina. Things got a little bit more interesting with the status of Ty Lawson up in the air, but Roy Williams and the Tar Heels are still the best team in the country.
