COLUMBIA -- The bye week really couldn’t be coming at a better time for Missouri.

At 3-4 overall and 0-4 in the Southeastern Conference, the Tigers find themselves at a crossroads at the midway point of the season. Missouri has two weeks to fix myriad problems before their next game, an Oct. 27 Homecoming game against Kentucky that should be considered a must-win if the Tigers want to play in a bowl for the eighth straight season.

“It’s a good time to get a break,” Missouri coach Gary Pinkel said.
