Every team dreams of making the NBA Finals, but these are the actual sleeper squads.

Ask most NBA fans and pundits right now, and they'll tell you that the 2012-13 season is only a glorified four- or five-team race.

Yet, is this season really just about the Miami Heat, L.A. Lakers, Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder and, maybe, the San Antonio Spurs?

NBA assistant editors Ethan Norof and Joel C. Cordes tab a couple of teams who are not only built to make some noise in the regular season, but who could also get red hot come playoff time.

These are the squads that no contender really wants to see at any point in the postseason. They're young and energetic, but they've also had playoff tribulations and successes recently.

This experience, along with their accomplished and knowledgeable coaching staffs, ensures that these teams believe they can make a deep playoff run.

These teams may not be on the championship radar just yet, but don't be surprised if they start getting championship hype rather quickly.
