3-2 count.

Last inning.

Raul Ibanez up.

And...he strikes out swinging.

Got you worried, didn't I, Tigers fans?

The New York Yankees were down, 2-1, in the final frame against the Detroit Tigers in Game 3 of the ALCS on Tuesday, but—with men on first and second—Ibanez...choked.

Not exactly what you would expect from the man who single-handedly lifted the Yankees past the Baltimore Orioles in a pivotal Game 3 of the ALDS.

Tigers right-hander Justin Verlander pitched 8.1 innings of one-run ball and the Yankees were held to five hits as Detroit rolled to a 3-0 series advantage on Tuesday.

Delmon Young hit a home run in the fourth inning and Miguel Cabrera hit a double to score Quintin Berry in the fifth, and that was all the Tigers needed as they held on.

Next up is Game 4 on Wednesday in Detroit. The Tigers will advance to the World Series with one more win.
