It hasn’t quite gone as planned for Purdue this year, and it certainly hasn’t gone as planned the last two weeks. The Boilermakers allowed more than 700 yards rushing (not a typo) in the past two Saturdays, and here comes Ohio State.
The Buckeyes have some defensive issues of their own, although unlike Purdue, they have won these games. And they have stayed unbeaten in large part (well, more than just that) because of how much Braxton Miller is doing on offense.
His Heisman campaign is very much alive, and he’ll have an opportunity to improve his case for the hardware against a struggling group. The defense also has an opportunity to get right at home.
