World Cup qualifier—Warsaw, Poland.
POLAND 1-1 ENGLAND
Goals: Rooney (Eng), Glik (Poland)
England were lucky to walk off the pitch in Warsaw with a draw as a rejuvenated Poland team ran riot for 90 minutes.
The Three Lions continually gave away possession over a sloppy 90 minutes, while certain Polish attacking outlets could have wreaked havoc on another day.
Wayne Rooney had opened the scoring for Roy Hodgson's team just before the end of the first half, nodding in at the near post from a Steven Gerrard corner.
But Poland bit back and after sustained pressure at the hands of Lukasz Piszczek, Ludovic Obraniak and Robert Lewandowski, Kamil Glik equalised from a corner of their own.
Thanks for joining us. We'll be here, as always, for England's next World Cup Qualifier in a month or two's time.
Until next time!
Well that was...disappointing if you're English.
It's a game England dominate on paper, but the same old issues surfaced.
Credit to Poland and in particular to Lukasz Piszczek, they were brilliant.

90'—Three minutes of added time to be added (minimum) as Oxlade-Chamberlain gives away a free kick.
89'—POLAND SUBSTITUTION
Obraniak off, Borysiuk on
Obraniak was absolutely superb today
86'—CHANCE FOR ENGLAND AGAIN!
Milner's low cross from the right fizzes across the six-yard line and Tyton gobbles it up.
There were three or four England shirts in the box waiting to pounce. Positive stuff.
85'—CHANCE FOR ENGLAND!
Milner lifts a left-footed cross into the box from the right but Welbeck's glancing header doesn't have enough about it.
It flies wide of Tyton's posts.
82'—POLAND SUBSTITUTION
Grosicki off, Milik on
Poland go 4-4-2
80'—CHANCE FOR POLAND!
Glik ghosts in at the near post during a Poland corner, heading over after connecting with Obraniak's superb delivery.
Poland's No. 10 has been superb.

77'—Another marauding run from Piszczek causes chaos in England's box. Lewandowski has a shot and Poland claim hand ball. Nothing given.
It's fired back in and Hart tips it over for a corner. The 'keeper comes out to collect and is fouled.
75'—The ball is cleared all the way back to England's goalkeeper, and it's obvious that Poland have settled back into their solid, counterattacking shape.
Back to Plan A it is then.
74'—England settling into a passing rhythm (finally) amid a chorus of boos from the home crowd.
Chamberlain ventures over to the right and finds a cross, Poland clear for a corner.

72'—ENGLAND SUBSTITUTION
Rooney off, Oxlade-Chamberlain on
The United striker has been rather poor, in fairness.
69'—POLAND EQUALISE!
After that miss, the ball comes back and Poland win a corner.
Obraniak whips an inswinger in with his left foot and Glik rises above Lescott to nod it into the corner.
Deserved equaliser from the White Eagles.
68'—HUGE MISS FROM WAYNE ROONEY!
Milner wins possession and gallops forward. He plays Welbeck in and he takes it around the advancing Tyton but is forced wide.
Welbeck brings the ball inside and squares it for Rooney six yards out...and the United striker blasts over.
67'—Another cross from Piszczek, another chance for Poland.
The ball is just behind the line of players waiting to put it in the net and after it evades Lewandowski at the far post, England carry the ball out.
65'—ENGLAND SUBSTITUTION
Defoe off, Welbeck on
Defoe has been incredibly isolated up front for England and every time the Three Lions clear the ball, it comes straight back.
Danny Welbeck is here to fix that.
64'—HUGE CHANCE FOR ENGLAND!
Gilk given a yellow card for hand ball just outside his own penalty area.
Gerrard hovers over the ball, then lifts it in to the far post. Defoe connects but, if anything, kicks it back toward his skipper rather than the net.
Poland survive.
62'—POLAND SUBSTITUTION
Wszolek off, Mierzejewski on
I really hope he doesn't touch the ball too much because that is one tough name to spell.
45'—IS THAT A PENALTY?
It's not given, but there's some serious contact on Johnson as the England right-back goes down in the Poland box.
So no, it's not a penalty.
60'—POLAND SHAVE THE POST!
Lewandowski does superbly to hold the ball up in England's penalty area and flicks the ball out to Piszczek.
The right-back fires a shot in with his left foot and comes ever so close to netting at the near post.
58'—BIG CHANCE FOR POLAND!
Piszczek fizzes in yet another cross and it ping-pongs around the box. It falls to a Polish midfielder 18 yards out who's deflected shot causes chaos in the box.
England eventually clear, but the ball comes straight back.
Hodgson needs to change something, and fast.

54'—More good work from Piszczek and he's off down the right. An early low ball finds Polanski 18 yards out, but the No. 7 can't decide what to do with it.
Hart collects a feeble shot.
