If you haven't heard about it yet, take a quick moment to take this in. Chael Sonnen will challenge Jon Jones for the 205-pound championship after the two coach the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Here is your allotted time to reflect on this.

Now that you have had a quick second to take this in, hopefully you realize how amazing this is. Not only will this help the struggling show and its awful ratings thus far, it bring amazing entertainment back into our lives.

Before this news came out, Sonnen and Jones had been going at it on Twitter and other forms of media. Sonnen, as usual, has produced comedy gold, while Jones has taken digs at the former middleweight challenger.

Now, imagine these two cooped up in a reality show for six weeks coaching against one another. This is where it gets real.

Sonnen is the ultimate agitator. Jones is currently one of the least liked fighters in the UFC. This can only lead to interest and attention from fans.

Then comes the pre-fight lead up. Remember how great Chael Sonnen's trash talk was leading up to his fights against Anderson Silva?

Well take that pre-fight promotional trash talk, add legitimate disdain from coaching opposite one another and throw the two in the Octagon, and you may have yourself one of the greatest things ever.

Sure, Jones is in another league than Sonnen in terms of fighting. But remember when Vitor Belfort almost beat Jon Jones with an armbar?

The point is, anything can happen in MMA

So, whatever your thoughts are on this showdown, just realize this is going to be a great lead-up and possibly an awesome fight. Just remember, the entertainment value is going to be almost second-to-none.
