NFL Injury Report Week 7: Team by Team Updates, Inactive List & More

It is already Week 7 of the 2012 NFL season, and football fans are ready to find out which of their team’s top stars will be active and inactive this week.

There are many big names considered questionable coming into this week, and fantasy football players must start formulating backup plans for the potential inactives and stars on bye weeks.

We have all the news you need for your fantasy team or your favorite NFL squad, so keep it here for all the latest updates as they break.


DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas Cowboys

Status: Out

Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News is reporting that DeMarco Murray will not play in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers with a foot injury. Fantasy owners and Cowboys fans should look to Felix Jones to carry the bulk of the workload.


Greg Jennings, WR, Green Bay Packers

Status: Out

According to Mike Vandermause of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings is officially out for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.


Trent Richardson, RB, Cleveland Browns

Status: Active

Though officially listed as questionable, Trent Richardson has been cleared by doctors and head coach Pat Shumur expects him in the lineup this week, according to the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich


Kevin Kolb, QB, Arizona Cardinals

Status: Out

While the prognosis is ultimately good for Kevin Kolb's chest injury, he will not be in the lineup in Week 7's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, per's Darren Urban.


Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Status: Out

Along with fellow running back Isaac Redman, Steelers starter Rashard Mendenhall has officially been declared out, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette


Pierre Garcon, WR, Washington Redskins

Status: Out

The Washington Redskins official inactives list for Oct. 21 includes wide receiver Pierre Garcon. Fantasy owners should look to Santana Moss as a backup option.


Brandon Bolden, RB, New England Patriots

Status: Out

Still hobbled by a knee injury that limited him to six carries last week, Patriots running back Brandon Bolden is officially out for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, according to the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta


Maurkice Pouncey, C, Pittsburgh Steelers

Status: Out

According to the Steelers' Twitter feed, Pouncey is inactive Sunday night versus the Bengals.


Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys

Status: Active

In a shocking late-week addition to the injury report, Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant was listed as questionable for Week 7's contest with the Carolina Panthers due to a groin injury, but will play.


Haloti Ngata, DT, Baltimore Ravens

Status: Active

After suffering a sprained MCL in last week's victory against the Dallas Cowboys, Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata will be active Sunday.
