College Basketball Primed and Ready To Dance

Thus far, 11 teams have punched their tickets to the Big Dance. In lieu of upsets—which are bound to happen quite frequently this week—some bubble teams' hopes are beginning to burst and will be relegated to play in the NIT.

Jacksonville, Weber State, and Tennessee-Martin failed to live up to their top-seed potential in their respective conference tournaments, and will play in the NIT since they were the regular season champions.

Meanwhile, Butler and Davidson will have to wait and see if their resume is tournament quality. They will find out if they have an at-large bid on Sunday evening during the Selection Sunday Show on CBS.

Championship Week continues Wednesday night on ESPN and ESPN2 as the Northeast and Big Sky conferences will crown champions, while the major conferences get their conference tourneys underway.

There are teams in some of these conferences who are in need of wins. A loss could mean the end of the road for teams like Providence, Florida, and South Carolina.
