The San Francisco Giants tied the NLCS at 1-1 with a decisive 7-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night.

Ryan Vogelsong allowed one run in seven innings on the mound, combining with Jeremy Affeldt and Sergio Romo to allow five Cardinals hits.

Angel Pagan got the game's scoring going in the first inning with a solo home run to right field. San Francisco didn't look back, getting two RBI each from Marco Scutaro and Ryan Theriot before the game drew to a close.

Game 3 will pit Matt Cain vs. Kyle Lohse. Both pitchers have what it takes to challenge each lineup, which should create a very interesting matchup.
