LSU vs. Texas A&M: Can the Tiger D Shut Down Freshman Sensation Johnny Manziel?

Barrett Sallee@BarrettSalleeSEC Football Lead WriterOctober 15, 2012

If you haven't watched Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel this season, you are doing a major disservice to yourself.

"Johnny Football" has burst onto the SEC scene to lead the conference in total offense with 392.7 yards per game and in rushing with 112.67 yards per game.

But aside from the game against Florida, that was against sub-par competition.

Things get tougher this week when Manziel's Aggies host LSU, which currently boasts the nation's No. 2 defense (219.6 YPG).

Can Manziel torch the Tigers, or will LSU's defense rise up to the occasion and keep the Tigers' national championship hopes alive?

B/R contributor Marc Kohn and SEC lead writer Barrett Sallee break down the LSU vs. Texas A&M game in this edition of "The Program."
