Boston Bruins vs. Montreal Canadiens

The Bruins and Canadiens have a very historic rivalry going back some 50 years. Both teams have had success, but the Canadiens basically have dominated this rivalry; however, this year the Bruins have been beating the Canadiens, so maybe the rivalry will start going the Bruins way. You don't want to be part of this bloody rivalry.

Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers

This is a very long rivalry dating back to the Larry Bird Magic Johnson playing days, and the rivalry is still going on. Both team have had success in this rivalry, but it sure dosen't come easy. The Celtics won the championship by beating the Lakers in the finals, but it could all change.

Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees

It is long, bloody, mean, and fun to watch. This rivalry has the Red Sox dominating for the first part of the new millennium, but with the Yankees accruing some big names in the offseason, they hope to turn it around.

New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

This isn't really the best rivalry in sports, but it sure isn't the worst. The Patriots usually get the best of the rivalry, winning the division four times in the last five years. The Pats seem to always beat the Jets, and the Jets need to get a grip on the Patriots.
