Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnesota Vikings Preview and Predictions
The Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings both entered the season with zero expectations, but early-season success has left their fanbases wanting more. This Week 7 matchup could go a long way toward proving which of these teams is a contender and which is a pretender.
The Cardinals (4-2) started the season with four straight wins, but losses to the St. Louis Rams and the Buffalo Bills have muddied the NFC West waters. The Cardinals are still tied for first place, but they face a tough test against the Vikings. The Cardinals offensive line hasn't been able to protect their quarterback this season, and it's up in the air if that will be Kevin Kolb or John Skelton in Minnesota.
The Vikings (4-2) spent 2011 playing better than their record, but they have learned to win in 2012. Christian Ponder has developed a chemistry with Kyle Rudolph and Percy Harvin, and Adrian Peterson hasn't missed a beat coming off of injury. The defense looks as tough as it's been in years and will look to stymie the Cardinals this weekend.
