The Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders in Week 7 as both teams seek to right their respective seasons before it's too late.
The Raiders (1-4) are in the first year of their first real rebuild in decades. Reggie McKenzie and Dennis Allen are trying to win with players they didn't bring to town and it has not been going well. Darren McFadden has been the lone bright spot in both the run and the pass game. The rest of the offensive talent around Carson Palmer has shown flashes, but not much more.
The Jaguars (1-4) are likely in the last year of their umpteenth rebuild under Gene Smith. Mike Mularkey has come in to help Blaine Gabbert who has improved, but is still among the worst quarterbacks in the NFL. The once-stout defense has been beset with injuries and hasn't instilled the fear it did last season.
Both of these teams have passionate and long-suffering fanbases that will be praying for a win this weekend. Which team will deliver?
