Washington Redskins at New York Giants: Preview and Predictions

Josh ZerkleChief Writer IIIOctober 15, 2012

The New York Giants and Washington Redskins escaped Week 6 with surprising victories. When they meet at MetLife Stadium in Week 7, there won't be any surprises.

New York (4-2) managed an improbable victory in a reprisal of their NFC Championship Game from a year ago against the 49ers. The Giants rode Ahmad Bradshaw and his 27 carries to victory. Furthermore, Big Blue's defense held the darlings of the NFC West to just three points.

Washington (3-3) has enjoyed a return to national relevance with the dynamic play of rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. "RG3" has played so well that the media stopped comparing him to the other first-year signal-callers after the first week of the season. Griffin's completion percentage has been among the league leaders throughout the season.
