Biggest Week 6 Winners, Losers
It is the "Factory of Sadness" no more for the Cleveland Browns, at least for one week.
The Brandon Weeden era in Cleveland got its first win of the 2012 season as it upset its cross-state rival, the Cincinnati Bengals. Yes, Weeden celebrated his 29th birthday in style with his first NFL win.
If you picked up Shonn Greene this week for your fantasy team, you are a semi-genius. The New York Jets pulled out a big win against the upstart Indianapolis Colts, and Greene led the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets with 161 yards and three touchdowns. Shonn Greene: huge winner.
On the other side of the ball, Andrew Luck was missing touchdown passes, throwing interceptions and reminding us that he is indeed still a rookie and a loser for Week 6.
How about the Baltimore Ravens defense?
Yes, it pulled out a nail-biter against the Dallas Cowboys, 31-29. But for the second straight week, the unit gave up over 200 yards on the ground. The Cowboys rushed for the most ever against the Ravens with 227 yards, as DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones combined to run all over the Ravens D. That's why Ray Lewis and Baltimore's defense are Week 6 losers (even though the Ravens won).
Are 49ers fans going to be questioning Alex Smith again after his three-interception performance against the Giants? We are, that's why he's one of our losers for Week 6. And, yes, the Giants are big-time winners with their 26-3 thumping of Smith and the 49ers.
Check out our video above for the rest of our Week 6 winners and losers. Let us know in the comments below if we got it right and who we missed.
